The day before this session was beautiful, 70 degrees and sunny.  Spring teases us around here though and the next day was 40 and raining.  Luckily, we found a little spot sheltered from the wind and finished just before the rain came.

I love photographing families, and I have found I prefer if we can go outside since inside can be a bit tricky with space when the family is big.  Unfortunately, outside isn't usually an option in the winter in South Dakota.  Lucky these guys had a wonderful, open living area.

5th Birthday { sioux falls child photographer }

I can photograph these girls all day. They are super cute and love to pose!

We did a mini session for Audry's 5th birthday at the Museum of Visual Materials.  

She was proud of her painted finger nails!

Sweet baby C is two months old. I was a bit worried going into his session since a two month old can be a bit unpredictable. But, I had no need to worry, he was an angel during his session.

Erin and Owen are 6 months!

It was last summer when I was chatting with Anne on facebook and she asked me if I wanted to know a secret. I had a feeling I new what the secret was, said a little prayer that I was right, replied back "yes" or something of that sort (who wouldn't want to know a secret) and wouldn't you know, I was right almost... there was two! I wish I was with her at that moment, to give her a hug, to share the excitement with her, but I instead I was sitting where I am now, clapping, tears in my eyes, with my boys looking at me like I was crazy.

These two little ones were  loved well before they were born. Anne and Brian, they are extremely lucky to have you as parents. And I'm lucky to have you as friends. Thank you for having me take their 6 month pictures.

I had a hard time picking which ones to share. So, be prepared for cuteness overload.
